Dangerous Cravings 3: Lust and the Damned

When a person dies, often times, the significant other left behind is unable to continue forward because of feelings of guilt. Guilt is compounded when the person feels they could have prevented the death of their loved one. However, some individuals are able to deal with the death in a healthy way, which allows the person to move forward and form new relationships. In Dangerous Cravings 3: Lust and the Damned, Apollo and Mansi each deal with the death of their loved one in different ways.

The year is 1830. Ambrose Brooks is dead. He, Apollo, and Mansi (who are man and wife) are lovers. For many years, the three of them shared everything. Now, with Ambrose dead, Mansi grieves his death, while Apollo represses his emotions allowing guilt, anger, and resentment to build. Each is remembering how they met Ambrose.

Those remembrances take them back to the year, 1692. Ambrose is a human searching for a couple whom the township believes are a witch and warlock. His search leads him to a meeting with Mansi and Apollo.

While talking with them, Ambrose learns Apollo and Mansi are vampires. He is at first apprehensive, then enthusiastic about learning all about the couple. Shortly after they meet, Apollo offers Ambrose the gift of immortality.

How does Ambrose die? Why does Apollo feel guilt over Ambrose's death? Will Mansi and Apollo ever find another soulmate? (LOL) I know the answers to these questions, but I'm not telling - you have to read the book!

So, just what makes Dangerous Cravings 3: Lust and the Damned, a good book? A good plot, elements of suspense, strong characters easy to relate to, and some hot sexual action (Grin). However, readers should know this book contains m/m relationships and ménages. If you object to these types of sexual practices, please do avoid this book. But if you are anything like me, and you want to explore the unusual; take a leaf out of Ambrose's book - expose yourself to the unknown world of Kate Hill's, Dangerous Cravings 3: Lust and the Damned.
