Dealing Straight

Richard is a gambler with a checkered past and a sickness in his chest that may be the death of him. He rides for the marshal sometimes, but earns his living as a cardsharp. But the attraction he feels toward the marshal is much more than brotherly; in fact, it’s downright sexual.

Wayne needs a partner to go after the no-account lowlife who’s been torching houses and killing people in the latest land war; it has to be someone who can work from the inside. Richard is just the man for the job, and the electricity humming between them only gets more highly charged as they spend more time together. What happens when they confront their passion? Emily Veinglory makes a departure from her wickedly wonderful paranormal stories to visit the Old West in Dealing Straight. Richard and Wayne are characters caught in a mire not of their own making; even so, they must strive to do the right thing and protect the innocent. A host of strong characters really make this story sing, and you’ll be drawn in by Ms. Veinglory’s rapid-fire dialogue and erotic M/M scenes. Dodging bullets and marriage proposals was never so interesting and sensual as it is in Dealing Straight.
