Crime Tells: Cady’s Cowboy

Cady Montgomery is a pet photographer and a private investigator. Working alongside her relatives for Crime Tells has given her opportunities in both professions. When five winning horses tested positive for cocaine on the same day and the same owner, Cady accepted the lead in the case. But there’s always a complication to every case and in this case it’s in a form of a sheriff from Texas named Kix Branaman.

Kix is spending his vacation tracking down the culprits who are out to destroy his good friend Adrienne McKay. He’s taken her suggestion by working with a local private investigator. After meeting Cady, all Kix can think about is getting into bed with her and riding her from sunup to sundown.

Crime Tells: Cady’s Cowboy is a mighty fine, suspenseful, erotic tale that just makes you want to shout yippee ka yay! Cady is an independent, strong willed, talented woman who has a heart of gold, while Kix is law abiding, smooth talking, eye candy who is overprotective towards his little darlin’ Cady. Their attraction to each other is instantaneous. The chemistry between them just sizzles from beginning to the end of the story. The sex scenes are hot and a little bit naughty. I really enjoyed the main and secondary characters. From Cady’s sisters, Lyric and Erin, to the die hard gamblers Red, Jimmy the Sweep and Ernie the Weasel. All memorable characters that help unravel Cady and Kix’s case. The plot is easy to follow and quite entertaining. Not only do you get a fascinating story but some information on the horse racing world. I haven’t read Crime Tells: Lyric’s Cop but will definitely add it to my cart. I look forward to reading Erin’s story. Thanks Ms. Strong!
