Coming Home

Intense suspense!

What would you do if you were a spy intent on taking out the opposition, which just happened to be the woman you love?

Amanda, who is a spy for Cuba, meets Rafael, who is an agent for the United States Government, in a bar in Italy and the sparks fly. Both fall in lust and love with each other. Amanda gives up her life in Cuba to move to the United States and live with Rafael as his wife. Amanda becomes a lawyer while Rafael keeps on working as an agent. Both of them have kept their life’s work a secret. Will the secrets eventually come out?

Rafael and Amanda move away from Rafael’s problem family to start a new life with each other. All of a sudden Rafael’s no good trouble-starting brother shows up. With their secrets looming over them plus Rafael’s brother hanging around, can their relationship last?

From the get go, you are lead into a world of espionage fraught with danger and excitement. I loved the way the words leaped off of the page, compelling you to find out if two people from different countries can mesh making a go of their newfound love. The characters are so realistic that they seem to jump out and touch you. Not only did Coming Home by Marissa de A’Mor meet all the expectations that I have about an excellent book but it surpassed them. I was so pleasantly entranced that I reread the book twice more enjoying it time after time more and more.

Never having been a reader of Marissa de A’Mor I found that I went out looking for more books by this talented story-weaving guru. Not just are you entranced by this enticing story as it makes its way into your heart, but the accuracy and timing of the events hold you waiting page after page to find out if the secrets they kept from each other will destroy or bring them closer. After reading just a few pages I realized that Coming Home is definitely a recommended read for any one who wants suspense with their romance. After finishing the book I had to reread it to make sure it was as good as it really was. Finding Marissa de A’Mor gave me another favorite author to keep my eye on. I can guarantee that I will not be missing any of this author’s books, as they are a worthwhile read. One of the best I have read this year!
