Hollie Jeffries wants this holiday to be as close to perfect as possible. Santa’s Helper is a short, festive holiday read. In less than thirty pages, Ms. Lowery has managed to bring a moment in Hollie’s life alive. Readers can feel the dedication she has for her job, yet it will be the emotions that Mike stirs that will keep readers hooked. Mike brings a humor and passion to life in Hollie that she doesn’t know how to handle. The author has hinted at a history that would make the most stable person leery of intimacy, so readers understand Hollie’s hesitation. The short length does not allow for in depth development or steamy details, however, Fawn Lowery has still managed to capture the spirit of the holidays and how two people find the magic of Christmas when they are least expecting it. If you can appreciate the simplicity and romance of short stories, then Santa’s Helper is sure to lighten your romantic spirit.
