Barrett Stanbridge is a private investigator, who is single and lives in a beautiful home in one of the best areas in London. He is very content with his life, but his parents are on a mission to help him find a wife. Barrett is attending a play with his parents when he meets Mignon.

Isabella Dandaneau is a widow. She left America in search of her cousin, Mignon, who has the other half of a pirates treasure map, which will secure the future for both of them. Isabella arrives in London to find that her cousin has been brutally murdered.

Since Barrett is the last person to see Mignon alive, he is accused of her murder. Isabella meets with Barrett and immediately finds there is no way he could have killed her cousin. They work together to find the true killers, so they can prove Barrett’s innocence, and find the other half of the map. Barret, being a private investigator, discovers that Isabella knows how to handle herself in dangerous situations. What kind of life did she live in the past to learn such skills?

The Perfect Desire is the third book in the “Perfect” series. It is a wonderful, suspense filled love story. Barrett and Isabella’s passion get them thru the many perils and secrets they are yet to discover. Their story was so exciting I could not put it down.
