MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe and Askana

Tee Morris and Lisa Lee’s, MOREVI, captures the essences of Tolkien with a flare of romance that will keep the reader guessing.

Askana, First Queen of Morevi, loathes the Sea Wolf; however, she is compelled to request his aid in uncovering a plot to devastate her beloved realm. Rafe Rafton, Sea Wolf, admires Askana’s vitality and splendor; nonetheless, he will not be a “pawn” for her to control. MOREVI powerfully captures the vehemence and trepidation that prevent Askana and Rafe from trusting each other.

Lisa Lee and Tee Morris cleverly craft a tale of elves, magic, and forbidden knowledge. Askana refuses to be a “pawn” in the Great Game of politics instead she vanishes into the night with the Sea Wolf to discern who the traitor in her midst is. Stalked by dark magic and a mysterious foe, will Askana survive to realize her enemy haunts her past?

Rafe and Askana’s impulsive strategy is disrupted when they are attacked by Eyrie’s Merchant Circle. With Askana’s Royal Guard missing and Rafe’s pirates dead, they head across The Rift to merry ol’ England. The authors adeptly weave a tale of treachery, hidden enemies, and old wounds that may demolish everything that Askana loves.

MOREVI is beset by strife from within while a valiant group struggles to keep MOREVI secure for Askana’s return. While Askana arranges to return with allies, a once trusted friend prepares to usurp the throne.

Tee Morris and Lisa Lee deftly scribe a compelling, thrilling, and breath-taking escapade that gripped me from the beginning. I eagerly await further tales of Queen Askana and Captain Rafton.
