Ghost Rider
Quinn wanted her off his land and out of his house, the only things he had left. After his son's death and his own murder, he watched others come and try to take his land, but he'd driven them off. When he tried scaring Sara to get off his land, she'd done something that had never happened to him before, she said no. He couldn't believe it when she followed him back to the cave, the place of his murder, to confront him. Passing through her to prove he was a ghost, he felt something he hadn't felt in over a hundred years, yearning and the heat of desire. Once he found he could touch her and make love to her, he wanted more. Together, Quinn and Sara decide to make the dude ranch work. Only things aren't working out like they wanted, someone was working against them. Can Quinn help save Sara and the ranch they both love?
Sara has wanted this ranch ever since the first time she saw it. She'd had to fight Ricardo Vega for it, and he was still trying to get it away from her. After working all day trying to get the ranch back to the way it was in 1880's, she meets Quinn, the previous owner of her ranch, a ghost who wants her gone. Sara decides she isn't going to fight Vega and a ghost for the ranch, so she makes a deal with Quinn, the ghost she's fallen in love with, to help her make a success of the dude ranch. Only Vega has different ideas. Who will win the ranch, Sara and Quinn or Vega? Read this story and find the answer to these questions.
Ms. Taylor has written a short 59 page story that I wish was longer, only because I would have loved to stay with these characters longer. Sara and Quinn have a love that transcends time and space, they are soul mates. The readers can feel how they overcome the problem of life and death. The secondary characters of Trace and Vega only lend credence to Sara and Quinn's love for each other and for the land, making them more believable. This is a great story to take with you when you want a full story, but don't have a lot of time.
