The Seven Sins of Samantha

In order for Samantha to be able to go with Nisien, she has to go through seven temptations. With each new temptation, Samantha learns something about herself. Her husband Terry gets deeper into trouble with two gangsters over Latent House. Which is the house that Nisien wants Samantha help him save, it means a lot to his people, and she's also his Princess. As Terry is absent more and more, Samantha finds herself getting closer to Sandra and Beverly, the waitresses at the cafe, and the things going on in their lives. When the gangsters start coming into the cafe to send a message to Terry through Samantha, she knows something has to be done. She just wants to finish her tasks so she can be with Nisien.

Terry knows he has to do something or things will go very wrong for him. He has double dealt both Finfield and Gewson – telling Finfield that Terry had the deeds to the building, then telling Gewson that he was having problems getting the building. Both gangsters started putting the pressure on Terry to get the deal done, and he was starting to sweat. Without thought to what might happen to Samantha, Terry goes into hiding. However, when she finds him and wants an explanation, he tells her that he's in a lot of trouble and they need to sell the cafe, little does he know but she has other plans.

Mr. Naso has written a sensuous and at times, funny romantic story, that will have readers glued to the pages, waiting for the next scene to unfold. He's made the characters three dimensional and very believable. The descriptions are so vivid the readers will feel they are in the room with the characters, or on the dunes with sand under their feet. I loved the scene where Samantha, Sandra, and Beverly are in Latent House, and hear the drum beats and see the shadows on the walls. It shows how close the three women’s friendship is becoming and sets it up for later in the story. There is something for everyone in this book; I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasies, romance, some B&D, and time-travel.
