Fourteen murdered children and the number is climbing. As primary coroner, Becca Ross is very familiar with the carnage left behind by a serial killer roaming Mobile's quiet streets. Becca uses her medical training as well as her psychic abilities as an empath to seek out this madman. She is given brief glimpses into the victims' final moments through her abilities; what she needs is hard evidence to be able to find and stop these horrible crimes.

Becca is drawn to enigmatic Ian Huntington. Through dreams, visions and cold reality she realizes that Ian has a secret to hide too. He is the infamous Slasher, the killer of killers, a bad guy's worse nightmare. Ian is vigilantism at its most dangerous. An incident occurs where Becca makes the decision that she's going to abet the Slasher in return for his assistance in removing the child killer; permanently.

Mobile By Moonlight is an exotic thriller that had me turning pages almost faster than I could read. Ms. Ross' slasher thriller is a delicious combination of paranormal abilities and stone cold scientific research. There is plenty of gore for those of us who like our mysteries bloody. The building anticipation is masterfully executed. The allusion to the killer being closer than you think niggles in the back of your mind. Ms. Ross has firmly planted both feet in the world of erotic suspense. A slight warning, the lovemaking scenes in this book are a bit beyond the norm. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. That said, enjoy your trip into the Ms. Ross' world where the line between justice and murder depends on which side you're looking from.
