Wingin' It
Poor Ripple has never had a hangover that was so bad she couldn't even fly. She swears and promises that she will never drink that much ever again, if she ever gets back home. She started out the night in the Big Apple. When she wakes, severely hung over in France; well, she's more than a little confused. She's even more confused when she falls into, or rather onto a pair of female fairies. Then she's taken to the motherly bosom of an overly attentive bumblebee. Curiouser and curiouser. To top it off: Who's the mysterious HE that everyone is so worried about returning early? Ripple is in more of a pickle than she thought. She's a straight fairy plopped down in the middle of female/female paradise. Not that she thinks it's wrong or anything, her wings just don't fly that way.
It looks as if Ripple, as the only female who enjoys men, will have to participate in a centuries old tradition; The Noble Mold flight. It's not that she has a problem with public displays of affection, nor is it that she doesn't like men, the only problem that she has is with the arrogant Philippe Pinot Noir. Though physically pleasing; tall, muscular and brightly colored, his ego definitely needs knocked down a notch or two. Ripple believes that she's up to that task.
Ms. Kelly's whimsical fairy world was an absolutely delicious read! Ripple's sarcastic sense of humor, and biting wit had me laughing out loud more than once. With motherly bumblebees, spider tailors, butterflies with great abs for transportation in a pinch, and short tempered wasps; Wingin' It is the Alice in Wonderland for adults. There is plenty of sex and foreplay amidst the witty one liners and heat that flies between Philippe and Ripple. Be warned, this book contains a lot of material that could be considered objectionable to some. However, if you like your erotica hot, sexy, and with a dose of fantasy Ms. Kelly's Wingin' It will hit the spot.
