Two Gentleman Spies And the Innocent Mademoiselle

Missy Strom’s tale begins in a ship’s small brig as the brothers are bemoaning a brutal bashing that they were lucky to live through. Both are chained to the walls, intensifying the pain of their injuries. They do not expect another person to be dropped in with them and are incredulous as they realise that it is a naked young woman. Her state of undress and experiences with a “horrible man” have taken their toll; she is rapidly going into shock. Her name is Noel Cambria; she is French and was taken from her bed by an unknown assailant. She was later questioned about a “Black Widow”, which she did not understand. The brothers urge her to cuddle up to them under their clothing. Pain of their arousal distracts them from other injuries and the girl is soon warm and asleep. Fortunately darkness was a cover for her beauty, but as the dawn approaches her fine form is revealed. Noel’s voluptuousness is remarkable. She tries to cover her ample assets with her long dark hair, but her attempts fail. Once more she becomes embarrassed and distressed, and both brothers manage to humiliate her further when they attempt to placate her with obvious compliments. She is told by a crewmember that she will be taken back to the “horrible man”, so a barely decent petticoat is thrown into the brig. After the brothers use a pin from her hair to undo the chains, they form a plan to burn the ship, hoping to escape in the mayhem. In the disturbance they jump overboard into an icy English channel and a small dingy. They do not escape the notice of Marapaul, a well-known spy and his comrade, Noel’s “horrible man”.

This erotic tease will tantalise readers with anticipation long before the three lovers find their release. The highly erotic and graphic scenes include both brothers and the French miss, but the acts are strictly male/female. (Warning: This eroticism is highly explicit.) They find love throughout their adventures, as they try to evade, and then capture the notorious and mysterious Black Widow. The two spies have been raised as gentlemen and know the consequences of compromising an unmarried virgin, but find some very creative ways to get around this problem. Noel must choose between the two charming brothers, both of whom she has come to adore and desire. A plot of spy chases is threaded into the lovers’ trysts, which kept this reader turning the pages, anxious to learn the innocent Noel’s fate. If you like your historical stories hot, and would love a change form the usual hero / heroine scenario, do not miss this one!
