Crimson Wings

Alec Wulf has loved and lost the same woman for centuries. Her name, appearance and sometimes even her sex have changed throughout the years but his love is undying. Happiness, however, has never been on the cards. Each time Alec finds his love, she is taken from him by tragic violence. When Alec meets Tania he knows immediately that she is the new incarnation of his late wife Kenya.

Tania has been floundering in her relationships. Her last boyfriend married her sister, and the rest of the guys she encounters seem to find something wrong with her appearance, her job, or some other aspect of her life. When she meets Alec an immediate attraction is sparked. All her life she’s been dreaming about a man like him. She doesn’t know why she has these visions, but when she is placed in mortal jeopardy and Alec comes to her rescue, Tania begins to realize that there is more to her new boyfriend then his seeming allergy to the sun. She’s beginning to think Alec may just be a creature of the night. A vampire.

K.R. Wilson has crafted a very imaginative and creative world full of lost and regained love. The story moves quickly, albeit a bit too quickly at times. The story jumps back and forth between the past and present fairly often, and it’s at times difficult to keep up with flow. Yet, the story is engrossing and a definite change of pace from your usual vampire romance.
