Fever

Delia Jenkins has a high fever. She has to leave work due to her illness. Her work is incomplete and her boss had to complete it for her. She goes home and takes the pills prescribed by her doctor. Upon waking, she finds a strange man with her and he helps lower her fever by his touch. Jackson Lloyd has always been attracted to Delia and this is his chance to get as close as he wants.

Kimberly Dean has written a sizzling story that is aptly titled Fever. Delia and Jackson sets off fireworks throughout this story. The book’s length doesn’t allow for full development of the characters but the author gives us enough information to understand the attraction they feel. Delia and Jackson come across as two very likable characters. Jackson shows his tenderness and love when he cares for Delia during her illness.

Fever is a fast and easy read that will leave a smile on your face. Ms. Dean wraps up her story with the “happily ever after” for the lead couple. This is the first book this reviewer has read from Ms. Dean; it shows a promising future in the world of romantica as she certainly knows how to combine romance and erotica.
