Rutledge Werewolves – My Heart’s Passion

Chloe Denison is at a fork in her life. She is trying to decide what to do with the rest of her life. Her cousin Mary and her new husband have left their cabin in the woods for her to use. Chloe decides to take her up on the offer. Unfortunately she ends up at the wrong cabin. Samuel Rutledge was attracted to Chloe at the wedding but she avoided him. He finds Chloe climbing through a window in his cabin and Samuel will decides to take this opportunity to get to know her better.

My Heart’s Passion is the fourth book in the Rutledge Werewolves series. Once again, Ms. Lapthorne has scored a hit with this book. Samuel and Chloe are fully developed characters that will draw readers into their story. A gamut of emotions run through this story as it is infused with joy and humor. It is undeniably a very erotic story as the tension between Samuel and Chloe just sizzles throughout the book. The sexual escapades between them are entertaining as well as arousing. The author does a great job of blending it within the plot, as it doesn’t seem to be out of place or overdone.

The rest of the Rutledge family do make appearances as we find out how they are doing. Once again, Ms. Lapthorne has expanded her Rutledge series with vibrant and entertaining characters. If you enjoy werewolf stories, this will definitely fit the bill!
