The Artist and the Director by Francis Drake

Derica Meadows leads a very orderly, organized, and mundane life. Her sole focus has been her corporate career and she hasn't had much of a social life, fearing that such distractions would detract from her career. Then one day, Derica finds herself shopping for a dress for another corporate function and she happens upon Your Desire, a clothing store unlike any other.

Kailen meets Derica at a photo shoot and he is instantly attracted to her. He knows he is out of her league, but he wants her anyway. Will their differences keep them apart? Or will they make the necessary changes to allow them happiness?

The Artist and the Director is a charming story of two people who meet under extraordinary circumstances and fall in love, even though they come from different backgrounds and each feels as if they are too different to maintain a relationship.
The chemistry between them, however, was undeniable, and the sex...so hot I singed my fingers while reading. The Artist and the Director is a great addition to the Your Desire duet.

Awards Night by Dee S. Knight

Allison Hayes was somehow coerced into handling the opening ceremonies for her third class reunion, and now she needs to find a 50's style dress. While shopping on her lunch break, she happens upon Your Desire, a vintage clothing boutique. Magically the proprietors produce a dress that is perfect for her. Little does she know that dress will change her life.

Frank Hughes is so relieved when Allison happened upon him after he crashed his car into her fence. The accident blinded Frank and Allison's nurse training helps get the situation under control. Frank becomes dependent on Allison and his feelings turn romantic, but he and Allison are worlds apart.

Award's Night is a touching short story and the perfect conclusion to Your Desire. Ms. Knight's characters are very human and three-dimensional. I became attached to Allison and Frank as the story progressed. I especially liked Allison's character because she is noble, altruistic and self-sacrificing, a Good Samaritan.

The sex between Allison and Frank was steamy, though brief, and added insight to the characters, which made me care even more for their well-being and happiness.
I found Your Desire to be a delightful collection of stories centered around this unusual shop, its proprietors and the magical clothes they made to make people's dreams come true. Both authors did a fine job of weaving their tales and engrossing me in the lives of those affected by this magic shop. I hope to read more from Francis Drake and Dee S. Knight and hopefully more about the wonderful and enchanting, Your Desire.
