Any Other Way

Jade came to Carlos to help the man she loves. Carlos had always been able to comfort Jade. He is the one she turns to in time of trouble. It does not matter that Carlos is in love with someone else, their relationship has nothing to do with love, it is about satisfying a need no one else can. When Jade finds out that the man she loves is dead, she turns to Carlos – only he can help her. Jade realizes that her relationship with Carlos is deeper than she has ever acknowledged.

Carlos had never been able to resist Jade. Their relationship has continued even though they were both in love with someone else. When she shows up on his doorstep, he is unable to resist yet again. Their loved ones are killed, leaving Jade and Carlos to turn to one another for comfort. When Jade reveals her love for him, Carlos is forced to take a hard look at their relationship. Jade has been able to reach him in ways no other woman can, but is that love?

Any Other Way by Denyse M. Bridger is a superb story. Jade and Carlos find love out of sorrow. Ms. Bridger builds their relationship over time, allowing each to see the other at his or her best or worst. The two have an intense sexual chemistry that is balanced by their friendship.
