Who hasn’t wished on a star? Who hasn’t wished for something more in their life if just for a moment? Jenny Brown certainly did. So in the midst of a meteor shower one Monday night, Jenny Brown wished she could be like the woman she most envied, the seemingly perfect Monica Starke. Blonde, beautiful and with the world at her dainty little feet. Everything seemed easy for Monica.

So Fate answers her wish and Jenny Brown wakes up the next morning inside the perfect body of Monica Starke. She has switched lives and bodies with Monica. She now has the perfect house, car and life of Monica Starke. But is it so perfect? Looks are deceiving. There are debts, a repossessed car, family lies and a disgruntled ex-boyfriend, Jason Foxx, the man Jenny instantly falls in love. He can only see the outer appearance of the perfect Monica and he isn’t impressed.

About Monday a story about standing in another’s shoes to realise what you have in life. That maybe your life isn’t so bad. That maybe you aren’t as unattractive as you believe you are. And that maybe the handsome man of your dreams is looking for something more in a woman that surface appeal. That even the most beautiful people do not have the best lives. About Monday is a light romantic comedy that you can escape easily into. For that reason, I give it five angels.
