Bethany Knight ends up in Winterhaven, Colorado out of the blue and now it seems she has a dog. A huge wolfhound has made his home on her porch, but that is okay with Bethany. Sharing her secrets and thoughts with Lex the dog, she is amazed that he appears to be listening to her. When she finally gets Lex to come in the house and sleep at the foot of her bed, Bethany starts having vivid dreams from long ago about a man named Alexander. Will Bethany ever find a man that will love her as Alexander does in her dreams?

Alexander Addington is trapped in the form of a dog due to a spell cast hundreds of years ago. In order to regain his human form, he must find his true love Elysabeth. Now that he has found her, he must remind her of their undying love and devotion of years ago. Using dreams, since he cannot talk to her, he implants memories of their times together, the passion they shared, and hopes that she will remember that she loves him. Will Bethany confess her love for Lex so that he can become Alexander once again?

12 Nights of Christmas: A Wolf in Santa’s Clothing offers readers a love story that stands the test of time. Bethany has been scarred by a past relationship, but has a genuine heart. Alexander is consumed with love for one woman regardless of the years that he has been without her. The dreams and moments that are shared between Lex and Bethany are heartfelt, tender, and passionate. Readers will be drawn into the depth of their love. Although this story can be read quickly, it is a wonderful blend of fantasy and true love. Michele Bardsley has created a great short story that is imaginative and shows that love has no boundaries. 4 Angels!
