Merry is a realistic characters that has flaws and uncertainty in herself. Readers will bond with her and keep their fingers crossed that she will found someone to love her. She is genuine and has a compassionate nature that only makes her more beautiful. Thorne finds himself attracted to a woman even when he believed he never would feel that way again. The emotions that Thorne endures throughout this story are another wonderful display of warmth and realism. The additional character of Dax is just what Thorne and Merry need to jump start the sparks flying. Although there is a ménage within the pages of this story, it is well written and offers readers some hot, tantalizing passion between its characters. Eve Vaughn has created a wonderful story that has a splash of paranormal, some sizzling chemistry, and a beautiful romance all wrapped within the Christmas season. 4 Angels!
