Snaring the Huntress

Star is on a mission to hunt down a fugitive Jacian man, who had fled his pre-assigned right before his heat, and return him to the Supreme Court for termination. She has never met a Jacian man before but knew that they had an exotic beauty and an inexhaustible sexual appetite during their heat and figured that this would be an easy case since she expected to find him holed up with a woman or going crazy with the need for one. Star is the only Interstellar Council Judge who is also of the hunter species. She has had to work hard to prove herself as a Judge and cannot afford to sympathize with anyone who has broken the law, even on hard cases like this. When Star catches up with her prey, she realizes that she has been set up.

Roark was flattered that the Council had sent the huntress after him. He had set everything up as carefully as he could and was grateful that everything was going according to his plan. He realized that by sending her, it meant his death but he thought death would be a small price to pay for the realization of his true desire. Roark only hoped that she would arrive soon as his heat was upon him and he needed relief.

Will Roark’s plan work as he has planned or will Star have a plan of her own?

Snaring the Huntress is a fresh and imaginative tale with exciting characters that instantly pull you into their world. This story is full of hot, spicy and sexy love scenes that will have your mouth watering. Star and Roark are strong characters that share a genuine bond from the beginning and plenty of sexual combustion.

Snaring the Huntress may be a short erotic story but it leaves nothing out. It contains everything you want in a good book without trying to pack in too much information as many of the shorter stories do.

Sylvia Day has done a great job in creating this well-written story that flows along smoothly, and will have you begging for more. I give Snaring the Huntress 5 Angels, a Recommended Read and encourage readers to pick up this stimulating book!
