The Orb of Atrios

Even in her wildest dreams and fantasies, Lealah Redmund never thought she would be transported to another world to meet her “husband”. But that is exactly what happens when she innocently picks up a small rock-like object at a flea market. The orb accepts her and unbelievable things begin to occur. Being transported, naked by lightening strike, to Atrios is just the beginning. Meeting Darien Finn Mal, High Chieftan of all clans of Atrios, and discovering that she is his tezza or his wife takes some adjusting, but Lea copes. However, will she be able to deal with a dominant male who’s been waiting for the perfect woman?

Darien “Dare” Finn Mal has been waiting for Lealah. Realizing the powers of the Orb in finding the perfect tezza, he knows they are destined to be together. But convincing Lea may take a while. Things are very different from Earth. Will she be willing to learn about their history and traditions and stay with him forever?

If I had to pick one word to describe this story, it would be “Fantastic!” The Orb of Atrios is a sizzling story of two people destined to be together, if they can only accept it and learn to live with each other. Lea and Dare are two very different people from different places but with characteristics that are complimentary. Discovering their compatibilities was the best part of this story. Dare is the strong leader, who wants to protect his woman, often without explaining things to Lea. Thankfully, he is also intelligent enough to realize that Lea is different. With no understanding of Atrios and the people or their beliefs, she must adjust and accept their way of life. Working together, they learn about each other and quickly fall in love. The sexual encounters are smoking hot! I enjoyed the secondary characters who were well developed. Ms. Steele has created a wonderful world and I definitely look forward to Dare’s twin brother, Tieran’s story.
