Diamonds Are A Cowgirl’s Best Friend

When Abby is surprised by an unknown man in the early morning hours, she does the only logical thing. She swings first and asks questions later. Yet all he can think of is the woman before him. Something about her is different and once he is sober, he intends to find out what, regardless of how much the lady protests.

Diamonds Are a Cowgirl’s Best Friend is a fun, lighthearted romance. From the knock-kneed horse Lance to the friends and family, this book will have you smiling, frowning and feeling all the emotions that real life brings. The plot moves effortlessly from scene to scene. Abby has been burned once by love and is even more leery the second time around. Yet somehow she still finds herself drawn to Chase.

Chase is a wonderful male character. Here is a man that loves his family, stands by his friends and almost loses himself trying to make sure those he cares about are ok. The way he pursues Abby is enjoyable. He doesn’t sway her with riches; instead he offers hard work, persistence and friendship. Their dialogue and interactions are laced with humor and ensure that readers are hooked as they wait to see if these two individuals can find a common ground. Ms. Walter’s style delivers a story that is a pleasant diversion from the everyday and is sure to be a hit with fans.
