They each display honest emotions that readers can appreciate and their story ensures this tale lives up to the wild hearts theme within the anthology.

Daring and full of life epitomizes Nicole, so she doesn’t have a problem with the dare she has accepted. In fact, she sets of relishing the idea of making good her promise to find and enjoy a man that sets her afire. The only problem is her car breaks down before she gets there. When Kev Grand comes to her rescue, Nicole is speechless. Not only is Kev her nemesis since childhood, but he is the first man to trip her trigger in quite a while. Can she live up to the dare now?

Cheyenne McCray’s Wild Hearts is a wonderful, heated romp that is sure to delight. The prologue only hints at the spice Nicole’s character possesses. I enjoyed how well matched Kev and Nicole are. Ms. McCray has done well to capture the strength and independence these two possess while highlighting that their relationship does not detract from their individuality. Their story, while short, is definitely worth reading as it is filled with just the right blend of humor, friendship, and sensuality.

Unlike her two cousins, Lily has reservations about the dare. Sure, she would like some spice in her life, but when her cousins send her off in tight skirts and high heels to a working ranch, she thinks they have lost their minds. However, she is determined that if anyone fails on the dare, it won’t be her. Before she even reports in for duty, Lily finds herself wanting her soon to be boss. Surely she can make it through one month filled with a sinfully handsome man, mind-blowing sex, and a few horses and cattle thrown in for good measure?

Nelissa Donovan has brought to life the underlying sensuality that Lily has always hidden. Her reaction to Shain is intense but heartfelt. Their relationship must overcome misconceptions and doubt, but the desire between them is a constant lure. When the passion between Shain and Lily heats up, while an unknown threat manifests against the ranch, readers can’t help but keep reading to see how Lily’s month turns out.

Hearts Are Wild offers a little bit of something for everyone. Whether it is the suspense of Hearts Afire, or the mystery of Branded Fire, or the outright sensuality of Wild Hearts, this anthology is sure to please. The authors have each brought their own unique style to this work and have managed to combine it all into one fun, erotic read.
