Shadow Stalker

Allison Rivers is sitting in a coffee shop one day when she sees an extremely sexy man crossing the street. She might be a quiet librarian with suppressed desire, but even she can appreciate the male form before her. She believes, however, that like most men, this sexy stranger can’t be interested in her. When Vance does in fact pursue her, Allison is hesitant. Can a woman that lives vicariously through text acknowledge the unusual chance in a lifetime that Vance offers?

Shadow Stalker is a short story that encompasses a brief span of time in Allison’s life. There are hints at the past, but the author has kept the main focus of the plot on the passion that explodes in the present between Vance and Allison. These two characters are not overly developed, but that does not inhibit the eroticism in the scenes between them. The snippets of thought that flow from the characters keeps readers abreast of the situation and is a unique deviation from straight dialogue. As readers wonder what kind of future Vance and Allison might find, they will be lured to keep reading.

Shadow Stalker delivers a quick erotic read with a paranormal flavor that is a good introduction to characters and worlds that readers will hopefully see more detailed stories from in the future.
