Eyes of the Wolf

Without her father knowing, Kalia went in search of the man who was responsible for attacking her people. If her father would not give into Garou’s demands, she’d have to do what she could on her own. Kalia hadn’t expected kindness from the man terrorizing her people. She thought she be brutally taken and then sent back to her father when the deal was done. Kalia found she couldn’t harden her heart against Garou when he protected her and only touched her with gentle and passionate hands. Kalia’s now thinking, what is to become of her when the deal is done?

Eyes of the Wolf is a short story with a surprising feel to it. Garou, leader of the Wolf Clan, isn’t exactly what’s expected and his honesty and straight-forwardness is refreshing. He makes no excuses for the things he does and therefore can respect and honor the sacrifices Kalia makes for her people. Although the story is short, readers won’t find it lacking. The sex scenes are erotic, yet simple; not too little, not too much. Amanda Steiger writes a story that’s over before you know it and a book that is an excellent read until the end.
