Miranda only wants one day of peace and quiet, but when she is suddenly called back to her office she knows she’s not going to get what she wants. When she arrives at the office, she is upset to learn that there has been a murder and the person murdered is none other than the individual responsible for taking her husband away from her. Now Miranda is a suspect. Can Miranda convince everyone that she isn’t the killer and that she’s been set up before she becomes the next victim?

A great story of mystery! This book will stay with you long after you finish it. From beginning to end this book will have you hooked. I loved the fact that the main character is a strong independent women, and that it shows the struggles of single motherhood. I loved the way the characters interact, and the way this author’s words flow. Jeffrey Marks tells a wonderful story. I loved so much about this book, that’s why I am awarding it with the highest honor of five angels. It’s emotional and thought provoking. My summary of the book only skims the surface; there is so much more to this amazing tale than the little bit of information I gave. It’s an incredible story, one that I would definitely recommend. This story is one of the must-reads of the year.
