Highlander in Disguise

Griffin Lockhart had no choice but to go to London disguised as Griffin MacAuley, Laird of Ardencaple. His family had to find the beastie in order to survive, and after his brother’s failure to return it to Scotland, the job now falls to Grif. The task proves to be a little more difficult than he originally thought, but then no one told him he would be dealing with Lady Anna Addison.

Lady Anna Addison has been in love with Drake Lockhart, English cousin and well known enemy to the Scottish Lockharts, for as long as she could remember. Now that he is back she fully intends to make him notice her. When a little beastie falls into her hands, she realizes it may have more value than she anticipated. Upon learning of Grif’s secret and that she has his beastie, she will entice him to a bargain. He must show her how to seduce a man, and she in turn will give him his beastie.

As the bargain begins, both Lady Anna and Grif will find themselves playing a game that is dangerously close to ruining both their well laid plans.

The characters in Highlander in Disguise were wonderfully written, and Grif is a hero to drool after. He is every modern girl’s dream of a true highland warrior. Lady Anna Addison may not know how to seduce but she definitely knows what she wants. She is a very strong willed and determined heroine. However different their goals may be, the scenes between these two heat up the pages.

Highlander in Disguise should definitely be on the list of every historical regency fan! Ms. London brings us the second book in her Highlander trilogy. Although it is the second book it can definitely stand-alone. However after reading this one, picking up the first will be automatic.
