Silver Fire

Faylene is a psychic/empath who works as a human lie detector for the police department. She has never before encountered the level of madness that emanates from this particular suspect. He is a member of the Keepers, elitists who believe that anyone who isn’t of pure human blood needs destroyed. Faylene can put the rest of the Keepers behind bars with what she’s pulled from this Keeper’s mind. When he is permanently silenced while in police custody Faylene becomes the only living being capable of fingering any of the vast number of members. This creates a very dangerous situation. The Keepers’ reach goes all the way to top levels of the government. They cannot allow her to live.

Thad is a Were who has lost his family and a goodly portion of his friends to Keeper raids. He will do whatever it takes to keep Faylene safe so that she can help dismantle the murderous hate group. He didn’t count on the strong attraction between them to further complicate things.

Thad and Faylene are running for her life while trying to fight their feelings for one another.

Ms. Hart has written a fantastical, futuristic paranormal with her novel Silver Fire. She does an excellent job keeping the tension high in this suspenseful romance. Thad is a sexy, tortured werewolf. Faylene is an equally tortured empath who has put up with prejudice against her gifts her entire life. She feels Thad’s anguish and self-recrimination that he couldn’t save his family. By setting it in the future Ms. Hart is able to bypass quite a few minute mistakes, in effect making this world one of her own making. Silver Fire is a fast-paced sexy read. This reviewer cannot wait to see what Ms. Hart writes next.
