Eyes of the Leopard 2: Vengeance

Vengeance is in the air in Serbia. Mikhail Turgenev has big plans for Nadia Kerensky. She promised to love him forever, but when he least expected it, she sent him away, claiming that she no longer loved him. If that wasn’t bad enough, Nadia’s brothers caught him in his leopard form, making him a sideshow freak in an American zoo for two years. Mikhail has waited and plotted and now he’s ready to put his plan into action. But first, he is going to make Nadia pay…by showing her what she missed when she sent him away.

Unfortunately, all is not well for Nadia. Bartok, the evil and vile man who controls her, is becoming even more insane. His beatings and cruelties have gotten worse. He’s even withholding her son Luca from her…Mikhail’s son, the son he has no idea exists. Now, with her brothers back in Serbia, Nadia has to protect them from not only Bartok, but from Mikhail. But the real question is, can Nadia protect her heart from Mikhail?

Eyes of the Leopard 2: Vengeance is a thrill ride from start to finish. This novel fairly seethes with anger and revenge, thus the title is aptly named. Nevertheless, Isabella Jordan does a phenomenal job of setting the scene for forgiveness and the rebirth of love. This is the second book in the Eyes of the Leopard series and it revisits characters from the first story, Discovery. It is helpful to have read the first story, but not totally necessary as any reader will quickly become immersed in the powerful shape-shifting world that Ms. Jordan has created. Sexual tension, danger, and the promise of revenge all combine together to create a great story.
