Waiting For You

When Colleen O’Leary stops at a gas station to get directions, she never expects to rescue someone from an attack, but that’s just what she does. Her weapon of choice…de-icer! Unluckily for Colleen though is the fact that though the victim gets away, the attacker grabs her. Now she’s being held in the grip of the most handsome man she has ever seen in her life. She tries to get away, but Sean Farrell performs a spell that knocks her unconscious.

Sean is shocked by the beautiful face of his attacker. It’s his Eileen, the woman he loved and lost two hundred years ago in Ireland. Eileen’s death made him so distraught that he became a vampire in order to vanquish the evil woman, Regan Sheehan that took his beloved’s life. Unfortunately for Sean, Colleen has no memory of him or of her past life in Ireland. But that’s no matter, somehow he’s going to force his way into her life again, and this time, he won’t lose her. He vows to keep her safe, just as he vows to finally kill Regan, the woman whose death was imminent until Colleen rescued her from Sean at the gas station.

Waiting For You is a romantic vampire story that features two well-developed characters. Colleen wants to be loved for herself, not for who she was two hundred years ago. Though she’s a bit hesitant to believe Sean, she can’t deny the scorching attraction they share, nor can she deny his preternatural abilities. In order to be with Sean, she has to accept his deadlier nature, which is easier said than done. Nonetheless, Ms. Jordan develops a fluid and heartfelt relationship between these two characters within a relatively short amount of pages. The back-story involving Sean and Colleen’s past life together becomes a great plot device used to enhance the connection growing between them in the present. If you’re a fan of vampire stories, you won’t want to miss Waiting For You.
