Blood and Soul 4: Intimate Relations

Autumn and Rolon are both ancient vampires and Intimates, vampires known for their control both of themselves and their partners. Autumn worked for centuries to become what she is - a vampire who never again needs to submit. Neither of them would ever think of trying to be with another Intimate, but then they met each other and the rules became guidelines. Autumn will never again submit to an Ancient, and Rolon doesn’t ever want to be vulnerable to a woman again. These two wounded vampires meet and begin a dance of seduction, each sure that the other will submit.

Blood and Soul 4: Intimate Relations was a great variation on a vampire theme. I enjoyed the descriptive nature of this story. Ms. Hill delivers a strong plot and cast of characters once again. The sex scenes were extremely hot as well as tasteful. Following two strong willed vampires through the intricate steps of courtship was very fun. This is the first of this series that I have read; it will not be the last. I look forward to revisiting the characters that were in this story and learning more about the circumstances of their relationships. Warren, the blind vampire, especially intrigues me.
