You and No Other
Phoenix Banister is a sculptress. She is the protégé of Andre Duval, a world famous artist. Morgan Grayson, a lawyer and a member of the Falcon family is smitten with her. Phoenix is leading a quiet lifestyle, trying to stay out of the limelight for a reason. Morgan does his best to pursue a relationship with Phoenix. Will her relationship with Morgan continue when he finds out her secret?
Phoenix comes across as a fairly naïve woman. She is attracted to Morgan and lets him into her life. Morgan is the hero who wants more than a fleeting relationship. He wants marriage when he realizes he loves her. These two share a sensual relationship. They enjoy being together physically and emotionally. The author has done a fine job of delineating their characters. The reader can understand their actions and nothing seems to be out of character. However, Phoenix and Morgan did not inspire an emotional response from this reader; I did not feel emotionally connected to them at all.
Of more interest to this reader was Andre Duval. At first glance, he appears to be the ever-supportive and loving friend but appearances can be deceiving. Other members of the Grayson family do make appearances in this book and you will want to read the previous books in this series so you would at least know who is who. The publisher has included a family tree at the beginning of the book which will be a great help to those who haven’t read the previous books.
You and No Other is the latest book in the Grayson/Falcon family saga. If you have enjoyed the previous books, there is no doubt you will want to read this one.
