Christiana Rutledge wanted Edward Matthews for her mate when she was young. Stung by his rejection, she has decided to put him aside and look elsewhere for love. Christiana is a modern woman who is looking for love and adventure. She wants to experience the physical side of love. Edward is an Alpha male who made a major mistake but hopes to rectify it. He is intent on giving Christiana everything she wants and needs. He wants her in every way and Christiana returns those feelings. These two are just delightful together. They have a past and they must work through it in order to have a future together.

The Rutledge family does make appearances in this story. They are a close-knit family and it is not of character for them to play an integral part in the story line. Once again, they added a positive aspect to this story as this reader enjoyed them all in the previous books. It was wonderful to see them again.

Chasing Love is the fifth book in the Rutledge Werewolves series. Once again, Ms. Lapthorne has written a dynamic tale with two likable leads who makes their story come alive for the reader. This is their story and they are featured prominently. Highly erotic and sensual, Chasing Love is just what you want to curl up with on a cold winter night!
