She Blinded Me With Science…Fiction

Bianca Kirkland and her best friend Gertie were in Las Vegas to work at a Star Trek Convention. This was a chance for the two to have a little fun. When Bianca sees Colby James, she is instantly attracted to his fine physique. Gertie’s food poisoning puts a pause button on Colby and Bianca spending the night together. As the two try to connect the next day, communication problems and hurt feelings seem ready to destroy the fledgling relationship. Bianca decides she will do whatever it takes to correct her relationship with Colby. Will Colby be willing to forgiver her?

Colby James is shocked to see Bianca and Gertie. Bianca and Gertie were from his hometown and the three had attended junior high together. The two women do not recognize him. But then Colby does not look anything like he did in junior high. Having had a major crush on Bianca, Colby is excited to see the attraction in her eyes and body language. Bianca’s dismissal of him, makes him remember how she treated him in junior high. Determined to move on, Colby decides to end things before he gets hurt.

She Blinded Me with Science…Fiction is a wonderful book. Colby and Bianca must get past the people they were in junior high school in order to have a relationship. The author is able to bring all the insecurities that Bianca and Colby have to the surface. The emotional upheaval that each goes through takes a toll. The story has many humorous spots as Gertie and Bianca interact as only best friends can. This book should not be missed.
