Faustina’s Pet

Quinn is a security guard that patrols the museum at night. He is entranced by the Lady Faustina statue. Late one night while carefully avoiding the museum’s cameras, he embraces the statue, only to be transported back to the days of Lady Faustina. Quinn becomes her willing slave, serving the lady in ways he had only dreamed about.

Eucratia, who is one of the lowliest maids of Faustina, envies her Mistress’s new pet. She is delighted to find Quinn after some of the other servants have made use of him, and happily puts him to her own uses.

Faustina’s Pet is a great, quick read. This short story is very erotic and the language used is very graphic. Severin Rossetti has placed several BDSM elements in a historical setting. The time travel that occurs is a very minor element in this story. Eucratia’s thoughts and actions are a delightful showing that there can be another side to BDSM. At times, the switching from character to character can be confusing and I had to go back and re-read a passage or two to understand what was happening. But overall, this story was well worth the time.
