What are you currently working on?

I’m working on my new “PAX League” series for SIM about paranormal super agents.

Have you always wanted to be a writer? Why or why not?

Yes, I’ve always wanted to be a writer. I’ve always loved books and had stories to tell!

Do your characters talk to you?

I’m not sure if I’d say they talk to me, but I do feel tuned in to their emotions and their conflicts while I’m writing their stories.

Who is your favorite character in any of your books and why?

My favorite character is always the one whose book I’m writing right now!

If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one book; what book would it be?

The Fellowship of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Who is your favorite author? Print and Ebook?

Victoria Holt.

Do you believe in writer’s block and how do you solve it?

I don’t believe in writer’s block. Any time I’m having trouble with a story, it’s that something is wrong with where I’ve gone with the plot, so I know I need to stop and go back to wherever I’ve taken a wrong turn.

What’s the best advice to give to a new author?

Write a LOT! Then write some more.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I hope in five years I’m continuing to write for Silhouette Intimate Moments.

Could you please tell everyone a little bit about you and possibly share some of your work?

I have three school-age children and I live by a lake in North Carolina with a bunch of dogs, cats, ducks and geese. I love animals, love decorating, and love to read great books! If I’m not writing, I’m usually repainting and redecorating a room in my house. There are always excerpts of my current releases on my website at http://www.SuzanneMcMinn.com.
