What is the one thing that you would want us, the readers to know about you?

(smile) That I haven't lived everything I write. I have a good imagination.

Rumor has it that you are related to Buster Keaton the comedian. Is there any truth to this rumor?

Yes, there was a bit or confusion as to if he was a cousin or great uncle. It has been determined that he was a cousin.

Have you ever tried your hand at comedy?

Once, I wrote a book of short stories called It's a Dog's Life by Belita Keaton, it was my first published book.

Of all your books which one would you say holds the most meaning for you and why?

Lord Tricking, It was my first romance published romance and people are still asking if I am going to write a second one continuing the character. I consider that makes it a success.

If you were going to visit any place in the world to research a book where would it be?

Scotland. I think it has an atmosphere that could be used for all genre's

What would you say is your greatest accomplishment in life?

Raising my children to be responsible adults.

Have you written or be published under any other names?

Belita Keaton, and Kim Parson, although a fan has told me to stick to one name, that I was making it too difficult to find me, I felt that I should use a different name for my erotic stories. However since then I have decided that there is little difference from erotic and the typical romance on the market today, aside from Christian romance.

Do you have any other sites under a different name other than Belita Renn, or even a yahoo site where people can join to find out the latest and greatest books out there by you?

I have http://www.kimparson.20m.com and http://www.treasurechest.20m.com, for those persons that do not wish to go to an erotic romance site.

Between the time you get an idea to the finish of the book how long does it take you to write it?

That would depend on length and research involved. Two weeks to two years. A short story might take two week or longer. Lord Tricking took two years to complete. It's a Dog's Life took a year.

Of the jobs you had which one did or do you like the best?

All of them, I enjoy being with and talking to people, and I enjoy being by myself. I would say being a hairstylist was my all around favorite in the past because I got to meet so many wonderful people. Now my favorite is writing, because it is something I have wanted to do all my life.

If you were going to travel back in time where would you want to go? Why?

I think I would go to England if I could be a lady and a highwayman on the sly during the regency period. It was a romantic time, as well as a time for change and advancement in the progress of the country. It must have been exciting to see the first train and go from oil lamps to gas lamp and eventually to electric. Many, many changes were taking place.

Besides writing all those great books, what do you do in your spare time, if you have any?

I spend time with my family and friends when I can, read, do crafts, watch auto races, movies, I dabble in art, research, I enjoy going to old stores and junk stores looking for that one item that is unusual, unique

With all those great books and even better reviews that are out, what do you have coming out soon? I understand that you have Covering Cinde Rella and Lust of a Vampire to be released in August. Can you tell us about them?

A historical romance set in the 1800's and vampire romance set in the early 1900's.

Covering Cinde Rella is a twist on the Cinderella story, Cinde doesn't have wicked step sisters, but she has a wicked step brother who has a handsome friend she has a crush upon. But the friend has never noticed her. So she goes to the mask ball. She wants to do something wild, something no other person has ever done. She finds a gentleman that is willing to make her dreams come true. Only he isn't ignorant of her identity and she is ignorant to his identity.

Lust of a Vampire is about Selean who is stricken with cancer, drinks poison to kill herself. A vampire that has been watching her has decided to claim her for himself. He waits until she had taken the poison before making himself known to her. Thinking he is an angel of death come to take her spirit, she goes with him willingly. Once she arrived at his castle he ties her to the bed while waiting for the poison to be worked from her body.

I understand that you are now under contract for Blizzard Stranger and Vampire Mansion, can you tell us about them? Just a little tease, please?

Blizzard Stranger is a historical, a man stranded in a blizzard happens on a house with a female waiting on her companions. One is her lover, who is a con man and willing to use her to fleece our hero.

Vampire Mansion is a short story, a bar owner goes to a local party, the wine is better than anything she has ever served or tasted, and her host is intriguing. He is sharing the manor with a mysterious man.
