Vivian Hart Interview

Fallen Angels would like to welcome author Vivian Hart. Hello Vivian, thank you for taking the time away from your writing to talk with us today.

Hi Joletta. Thanks for inviting me.

Can you tell us about your new release from Liquid Silver Books, Lovers In Time?

Yes. Lovers In Time is part of the Dream Lovers Series that takes
place in a small town on the coast of Maine. It's a paranormal/contemporary that deals with reincarnation and a love so strong it has carried from one lifetime to the next in order to find its fulfillment.

You have an upcoming release with Liquid Silver Books. Would you share a sneak peak into In Her Wildest Dreams with our readers?

I'd be happy to. Actually, In Her Wildest Dreams is Part Two of Dream Lovers. Here's what it's about:

Ellie Morgan's dreams are haunted by a gorgeous naked man who comes to her bed, only to disappear before anything juicy can happen. When heartbreak causes Ellie to flee to her ancestral home in Maine, she finds Dream Man living in her house. Not only that, he claims the house belongs to him!

Do you have a favorite genre that you like to write?

I really enjoy all genres. I simply love writing erotic romance. However, I'm finding a budding love for writing menage a trois (two man and a woman) which I'm going to expand on under my new pen name, Sedonia Guillone.

Where do you find the ideas for your novels?

Well, first and foremost, the stories spring from the love I ahve for the man in my life, who is the inspiration for all the heroes. After that, I'm not sure. The storylines seem to well up from a deep place inside me, sometimes touched off by a movie I've seen that I found intriguing.

Have you always wanted to be a writer?

I've wanted to write most of my life. I just never had the confidence and discipline to pursue it as a career until my current relationship. He's helped me find the strength and talent inside me.

When you found out about your first sale, what was your reaction?

I was thrilled! I jumped up and down and ran to tell Mitch.

What books would we find on your shelf or hard drive?

You'd find a combination of scripture like the Baghavad Gita, LaoTzu and the Upanishads alongside Saul Bellow, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and then next to Jayne Ann Krentz and Maggie Osborne.

Describe the perfect romantic getaway.

A little cabin on the coast of Maine. (Which is where I get to live anyway. I'm really lucky!)

What TV show or movie would you consider torture to watch repeatedly?

The Swan.

Do you find that music helps you write? If so, what?

Sometimes music helps, and at other times I need quiet. When I do use music to write I love Enya. She brings out the romantic writer in me!

Do you have any advice for aspiring authors?

Yes! First and foremost: work on your craft! Write from your heart and craft the best story you can. Don't worry about promoting or writing to fit in a genre so much that you lose touch with your inspiration. I have learned this from hard won experience. Nothing kills inspiration faster than worrying about results!

Second: don't shy away from good constructive criticism, whether it's from editors or critique partners. If you don't agree with something they say, weigh it first, reflect, and then see. Sometimes when you're close to your own writing, it's hard to be objective.

Third: always treat your editors kindly and respectfully. If you find one you work particularly well with, cling to her!

Is there anything that you’d like to add Vivian?

Yes. I would like to add that I have begun to write also as Sedonia Guillone and have a new website. Sedonia also writes erotic romance, only she's not afraid to add a slap and a tickle to her stories! Lol.

Thanks again for interviewing at Fallen Angels. Readers, be sure to check out Vivian’s website.

Thanks, Joletta for having me here!
