Can you tell us about OF ELVES AND VAMPIRES: TRINITY'S MARK?
Trinity is a sweet and humble woman who cannot explain her intense sexual desires until one night she meets the man of her dreams, the one in her dreams! He takes her and shows her her real heritage and how they were in love as humans 200 year before. Before they can spend a lot of time together, the evil Senora Manuella, Raul's master vampire, has Trinity kidnapped by a pervy little elf named Rigor.
When can we expect to see the next book in this series?
OF ELVES AND VAMPIRES 2: SAN FRANCISCO HERE WE COME will be out in late May. This is the story of Trishinna and Ricci. Trishinna feels she has betrayed the Creek Elves and leaves for San Francisco only to meet a mysterious group of people. Ricci, Trinity, and Raul follow her and must help her see they really do need her.
Ricci is seduced by a vampire and Trishinna must realize her true self before she can help him.
Yes, it is just as erotic as the first one.
Do you have a favorite character in the book, and why?
I wrote these books because of my love for vampire stories and it ends up that neither of my favorite characters are vampires! Trinity is my favorite character in the first book because of her power. In the second book, I introduce a bad guy named Douglas. As I wrote him, he crept off the pages and became this incredibly handsome guy who is just as alpha as any strong were should be.
Vampires are a huge genre right now. What do you think it is about them that makes them so erotic?
Vampires are extremely sexy and powerful. The idea of someone biting you to become close to you is erotic. I would never personally do it nor allow it, but there is just something about it that is incredibly sexy.
How difficult is it to juggle family and writing? Any advice for aspiring authors struggling to find a balance between the two?
Never try to write when your kids are screaming as it will only anger you and take the mood away. Try to keep your mood until they've all gone to bed, maybe it will sit in your mind like a ball of fire ready to explode and the wait will just make you write more.
What’s the scariest thing you have ever done?
Have a baby without an epidural. Oh, no, wait. I think moving into my own apartment San Francisco at 19 years old was more frightening!
What would you like to do, but haven’t been able to yet?
I want to visit Tuscany and maybe live there for a few years.
If you had to pick one book that you had to read for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
The Bible. It has a chapter for every walk of life. There are some books in the Bible that were removed from the King James version that are very erotic without all the sex.
What is your greatest junk food weakness?
It's a tie between a combination Round Table Pizza, chocolate, and dark coffee. Does anyone have a Round Table where you could send me a large combo? I haven't had Round Table since I moved from California and I miss it! I'll send you a PayPal for it!
What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
Super Friends. I'm more of an action fan.
What characteristic are you most attracted to in a man?
Ambition. The ability to go out and do whatever it is he needs to do to support his family. I don't like this sensitive college professor type we have molded since the 1960s. It's not very romantic.
Describe yourself in three words.
Obnoxiously paranoid and ambitious (and doesn't count as a word)
What can readers expect from you in the future?
I have so many fun things to do. As you can see I enjoyed Super Friends so it is obvious I love action heroes! La Pantera is a fun action hero erotic romance that will have all the odd traps and plans to capture or kill La Pantera.
I also have a surprise story I'm working on. The concept is too unique to tell everyone, but it sure is turning into a fun story!
Is there anything you would like to add before we go?
I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to read and/or review Trinity's Mark. It was my first book and the support for it was overwhelming. I loved to write it and I hope it brought as much magic to the reader as it did for me to write it.
