Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer some questions for us at FAR- Fallen Angel Reviews. We know a few things about you such as your web site:
http://www.lenamatthews.com. but we are all curious to know more. So by answering these questions you can help us get to know you.
What is the one thing that you would want us, the readers to know about you?
One thing.I have to pick just one? How about that I like to receive emails from readers. So whether you liked my books or not, drop me an email, more than likely I'm online.
What one book or books, like your trilogies, holds the most meaning to you and why?
Jokers Wild: Call Me, is my favorite. It's probably not my best one, but it was my first, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Do you have a Yahoo group or a newsletter that we your fans can sign up for to get the latest and greatest news about you and your
wonderful books?
I have a newsletter that the readers can sign up for at http://www.lenamatthews.com/newsletter.htm. In every issue I host a contest, and spill the latest dirt.
On your web site it says "I want to show you my world where you can still read an erotic love scene without losing the love story. And where women of every color, shape and size are beautiful. Come join us on their search for their happily ever after." Do you really believe erotic enhances a love scene with out losing the love story?
I hope so. It's my pitch after all. I think the love scenes are just part of the books, and not the full focus of the story. Sure my love scenes are sexy, but I'd like to think I write good stories as well.
If there were one thing that you would do to make the world a better place what would it be?
I'd be willing to do anything to make the world a better place.
You have two books coming out soon can you tell us about them?
Lily's Surrender is the third book in the Redemption Series and it's due out in November and For Loves Sake Only which is my contribution to a Christmas series with Maggie Casper and Beth Williamson entitled Spurs and Mistletoe, will be out in December. Both books will be available through Loose Id books.
What are your WIP-works in progress about?
I just finished my first quickie, about two childhood friends who take things to the next level during a heat wave.
Besides being a mother to an extremely bright toddler and having three dogs what else do you have time for?
Sleep and that's about it. LOL. When I'm not writing or spending time with my family, I'm more than likely reading or watching TV. I'm actually pretty boring.
Do you have any free time if so do you have any hobbies?
I like to read, watch movies and TV and hang out with my family.
You have an acknowledgement page on your web site to thank all those who are so wonderful to you. I think that is terrific, how did that come about?
I just felt really thankful to so many people for so many things, that I just had to write it down. No one survives in this business or any other without support from their family and friends and I just wanted to thank mine.
I have been reading about how some in groups want to separate the erotic from the non-erotic, I for one believe that they should be kept together. What do you think about it?
I think all romance should be kept together, erotic and non-erotic alike.
Thank you for taking time out of your very busy schedule to answers the questions that we the readers have posed for you. It helps to hear what is going on with you and your books that are available and are coming out soon. Keep us posted with all the latest and greatest from
Lena Matthews as I know I am keen to hear all.
