Ethan MacMillan is the newly appointed president and CEO of the company now, taking over for his uncle. No one knows that he is brought in by his uncle to find an embezzler in the company. For the past three months, Ethan has been watching Dulcy’s every luscious move. She has no clue that he suspects her of helping another employee embezzle money from the company. Working close together getting things ready for a special company gala, they find heat between them is indeed stifling. Even though Ethan makes it well known to Dulcy that he wants her, she tries everything she can to keep her distance from him. She looses her battle the night of the gala when she gets drunk and they share a very passionate ride home. What is going to happen when she discovers that Ethan does not trust her?

A Calculated Seduction is indeed a very suspenseful, erotic story. It is the kind of Cinderella story in which she has hidden beauty that no one suspects, until her neighbor helps her change her looks and she is noticed for the first time in her life as being truly beautiful. Ethan tries very hard to disguise his lust for Dulcy from his employees and fails miserably only to discover what he feels is more than he realizes. Melissa Schroeder does a wonderful job bringing her characters to life. I give her 5 angels.
