Night of the Star Cat - Jazz Raven

Laura Santiago was having blackouts; she’d had six so far and didn’t know why. It had started when she'd come back from the jungles of Africa to start her new job at the hospital. When she woke up in the tiger cage, naked, she knew she had to do something.

Jared had been called to the zoo, where he met Laura. Upon meeting her, he felt on a deeper level there is something more to her. He needs and wants to find out what it is. He couldn’t stop thinking about her or wanting to see her again.

This story has a surprise twist to it. Ms. Raven’s written a short story that will make readers hope there is more to be had from this author.

Monkey Around - Brit Blaise

Tonia Shelby was surprised that her fiancé didn’t have the nerve to break their engagement himself, but had sent over another woman to do it. While listening to her rant and rave, Tonia saw the repairman’s van drive up and was glad for a reason to shut her up. Only this wasn’t her regular repairman Fred, but his brother Payton, and he was gorgeous. She couldn’t believe she was oogling another man, when her engagement had just broken off, but she deserved looking at a hunk to keep her mind off what had happened. But could she trust her feelings towards him after knowing him such a short time?

Payton knew when he saw Toni that Fred had set him up. Now the only thing was to find out how she’d react to finding out about his family and their secret. He didn’t know how he was going to tell her that she was destined to be his wife.

This story had me laughing, with its witty dialogue and all that is happening between and to Toni and Payton, the readers are going to love this story.

Faith and Love - Sandy Lynn

Faith knew that by helping the cops find evidence against Donnie, her ex, she’d finally be able to move on with her life. She hadn’t planned on liking or wanting the cop who was acting as her new boyfriend. Faith had to keep reminding herself it was all an act. But the way he touched and kissed her made her wish it was real.

Daniel had to keep his mind on the task; he was here to gather evidence against Donnie, not fall for Faith. Even as he kept telling himself that, his body and heart told him something else entirely different. The more he got to know Faith, the more he realized that she didn’t have anything to do with Donnie or his associates.

Ms. Lynn has written a story that is poignant and endearing. The details she has given readers to show how these two characters struggle with the feelings they have toward each other, illustrates that she knows what readers want from a romance story.

Animal Attraction is a collection of three different stories that these authors have put together to make one good book to read. They each have a different aspect to them, but tie in the animal attraction that we all have felt toward the opposite sex. Ms. Raven, Ms. Blaise and Ms. Lynn, I commend you all on writing such good stories that the readers will want to read again and again.
