Davide Calabria III, called Tony, didn’t have time to find out who had killed his grandfather or his fiancé twenty years ago, even though his grandfather kept asking him for the help from the grave. But when he meets Lana, he agrees to help her set up her plan to bring the suspects together for a seance to find the murderer.

Ms. Cox has given the readers an endearing story about how true love lasts whether you’re dead or alive, and how ghosts can help find the truth.

Mistletoe Medium - Elizabeth Delisi

Lottie Baldwin has ends her relationship with Jack and moves to Cheyenne, North Dakota, where her friend Janet lives. Lottie meets Harlan when he pulls her over for speeding. Then when her new house is broken into, it’s Harlan who comes to investigate. With the attraction they feel for each other growing, Lottie hopes they can find the burglar before something really bad happens.

Harlan likes the way Lottie makes him feel when he’s with her. Investigating the robberies, he has a short list of suspects. After Lottie’s house is burglarized a second time, Harlan has an alarm system installed, but even that doesn’t keep her safe. Harlan had to find out what is going on, or he could lose Lottie and his hopes for the future.

The story that Ms. Delisi has written is about psychic talents and tarot cards, how they can help these two characters solve a crime and find each other.

Valentine’s Inn - Chris Grover

Rianna Gordon’s family has owned and operated Valentine’s Inn for a hundred years, ever since her great-great grandfather built it. Now she has to decide whether to sell it or not. She only has 48 hours to decide. When she meets a man, Josh Byford, who has brought a wet, freezing kitten to her for help, and he helps influences her decision to keep the Inn after all. Now she just has to find an investor to help put the Inn back the way it was before the fire. Rianna is put in touch with Alan, who owns a winery and needs a restaurant to showcase his wines. Little does she know where a relationship with him will lead her or what she’ll find out.

This is a story that tells of how adversity can be turned into hope and love , with the help of a ghost and his kitten.

Curse of Osiris - Elaine Hopper

Alexis Hart finds out she’s the reincarnation of Princess Nepththys, betrothed to the god Seth, the brother of Osiris, whose coming back to wed then kill her, his virgin bride, so he can rule the world in the new real second millennium. Her foster father, Omar, has been her protector ever since her parents were killed. Now it is up to Zane and Omar to get her out of Egypt before Seth can get her. Although Seth finds them and throws them into a chamber to await the stroke of midnight to marry her. Omar comes up with a plan to thwart Seth, if he was to marry Zane to Alexis she will no longer be a virgin. However, they wondered if the plan really is the answer or is there something they are missing.

Ms. Hopper has given the readers a story that will have them hoping that love will solve the mystery of how to defeat the prophesy of old.

Ghost of Auld Lang Syne - Maureen McMahon

While staying with her friend Holly for the New Year’s Eve party, Stacey Christian finds a mystery to solve. Holly’s ancestor, Clementine Kreen had disappeared on New Year’s Eve after getting a letter that her fiancé had died. Holly wants Stacey to help her find Clementine’s diary. But accidents start happening to all the guests. Lyle, Holly’s brother, gets shot at, Holly falls through a hole in the ice on the lake, and Stacey herself thinks she sees Clementine. On top of that, someone is setting traps in the woods behind the house. Peter Mansfield is on hand once again to help Stacey solve another mystery, and hopefully this time he can get her to admit her love for him.

Ms. McMahon’s story takes the readers to the New Hampshire country side where friends are together to celebrate the New Year and a ghost helps solve the mystery of what happened to her.

Fate’s Little Trick - Sheryl Hames Torres

Gemma McKinsey Fuller has lost her hearing and developed skills as an empath after the wreak that took her husband Ray and daughter Lila. She has stopped celebrating or even believing in Christmas, that is until one little girl and her daddy came to Gemma for help. Jared Mitchell had been Gemma’s fiancé fifteen years ago, until he chose the boss’s daughter over her. Now he’s back in her life along with his daughter Emily. Gemma doesn’t know how she’s going to deal with the feelings that their arrival has brought out. Gemma knows she has to help Jared keep Emily safe. With Jared and Emily maybe Gemma can heal and learn to love Christmas again.

Ms. Torres has written a story that will tug at the heart strings and make readers hope that Gemma can heal and learn that love doesn’t have to die when circumstances bring pain.

This is a book that readers will enjoy reading from the beginning to the end. The descriptions and characters kept this reader wishing there was more, but loving the endings.
