Murder Southern Style

Terri was back in her hometown of Deer Point trying to find out who murdered her mother. She doesn't know who to trust, it seems everyone has an agenda. When she finds out what Jacob's secret is, Terry agrees to work with him. She only has one problem; she's fallen for him, but she knows it can't go anywhere. Finding out the reason for her mom's murder makes her wonder about the other people in town. Who knew, who helped her mom, and how long had it been going on? She needed the answers to those questions, but would she find them before something happened to her?

Jacob hated knowing he was going to have to use Terri, just like he used her mom. She was nothing like he thought she'd be, she was so much better. He had to be more careful; he couldn't let anything happen to her. Jacob could tell that Terri didn't believe that he was a handyman; she was questioning everything he said and was finding the holes in the explanations. He had to make sure she stayed safe, he loved her. The closer he got to finding out what was going on and who was involved, the more afraid he got for Terri. He hoped he would be in time to save her.

Ms. Cloud's story kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next scene. The passion and love that Terri and Jacob start feeling for each other gives another dimension to the mystery that is happening around them. Ms. Cloud's attention to detail makes this a wonderful read and gives the readers a story that will delight as well as give them shivers. The ending is one the reader won't see coming. The twists and turns are exactly what a reader of mystery and suspense want in their books.
