The Gift

Penelope Hart, a librarian, started receiving anonymous gifts that made her tingle, even as she told her friend Joan that they were kinky. With the last gift came a note, to meet Mr. X at the hotel, but no way would she meet him. She didn't know how she could meet the man who had been sending these gifts of a paddle, nipple clamps, and a blindfold. But she was curious about who Mr. X was and decided to go to the shop where he'd gotten the gifts; only to be told they wouldn't say who Mr. X is. On the day she was to finally meet Mr. X, she gets to the hotel a half hour before the appointed time, to see if she could find out who he is. Nothing in the room gives his identity away, then he walks in and Penny knows her dreams just may come true. The things he does to her, both scare and make her want more. The longer she stays with him, the more she wants him. Can she fully submit to this man the way her body wants her to, or will she say no to hi! m and walk away?

Mr. X has been watching her for a while, knows her desires, likes and dislikes. He wants all of her, not just her body, and knows that even if she denies it, she wants him also. Taking her through the steps of obedience will bring them both the pleasure and pain they both want and love. Will he be able to make her realize that he's her destiny? Read this book to find out the answers to these questions.

Ms. Jans has written a story that takes a woman on a journey to find her inner self with a man who knows her inside and out. These two characters are well written. Penny's feelings are described so well, the reader will be able to identify with the self-discovery she makes. The interaction between them makes for hot reading; you can fairly feel the sizzle these two make. If you love a good BD story, then this is for you.
