The Man in her Life

Shelby had to find out who was making it look as if she had stolen and sold the plans to one of Nick’s projects. What with someone ramming her car and her trying to bring in this project of Nick’s under cost and time frame, Shelby hasn’t had much time to find the culprit. Plus with Nick being everywhere that Shelby is, it's hard for her to think beyond wanting to touch and be with him. But looking at all the men she’d ever dealt with makes her feel horrible, she can't believe anyone she knows would do this to her. But things aren’t always the way they look.

Nick doesn't want to believe that the woman he loved would steal from him, and then lie. But he has no other choice; he has the evidence right in front of him. Now if only he can get her to admit what she's done and tell him who she sold his plans to. However, every time he’s in the same room with her, he wants her, heck he doesn’t even have to be in the same room. He thinks about her constantly and now he finds that someone is after her, he has to do something.

P.J. Womack’s The Man in her Life had me laughing and wanting to see these two characters find that they were meant for each other. The dialog between them at times was so funny I had to share it with my husband. It’s hard for a writer to be able to have comedy sound so natural, this author had no such problem.
