Sex Slaves 2: <title>Sex Slaves 2: Waiting For Yesterday

Dree of Torl might have been from a lower class, but she knew that she couldn’t accept being treated like a slave. She knew she had to show resistance to the current King, even if it meant brutal punishment. When Dree meets Marc Torin, she has feelings never experienced before. Marc is larger than any man she’s ever met, and when he takes her out of the castle in order to protect her from punishment, she is both terrified for the future of her people and excited at spending more time with this captivating man.

Marc immediately feels possessive towards Dree. From their first encounter, he finds himself helping her towards safety and shielding her rebellious actions from King Sorale. He’s astonished to find that she is a freed sex slave, and sets about ensuring that she remains free. Yet Marc can’t deny his ongoing attraction to Dree. He knows that he has important business he needs to take care of himself, protecting Dree was not part of his plan.

As Marc and Dree embark on their journeys to lead their people towards true freedom, they find their plans thwarted by their intense connection. Together they must stay one-step ahead of a dangerous game, while attempting to work around their feelings towards one another.

Lorie O’Clare has done it again. Waiting for Yesterday is a story full of stories, an interesting mix of two people from two different worlds. Dree has an innocence about love and human connections that stems from survival and Marc is the man of her dreams who can help her realize she deserves love. Dree in turn reveals aspects of Marc’s character he didn’t know existed. Together they are a great couple, and I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. O’Clare’s second story in her Sex Slaves series.
