The Syndicate Volume III
Sometime in the future on a syndicate spaceship-
Allard was looking for a change from his last humdrum computer sysadmin job and got more than he bargained for when he agreed to join the crew of the MaryJane on a trial basis. Now as the year of trial draws to a close, he has to make a decision on where he goes from here. This crew has become a family of sorts for him, a weird and slightly warped family, but one in which he has found a feeling of belonging he has never known before. As for his love life, it is better than ever as the feelings between Vaughn and himself have developed into much more than just lust but into honest caring and devotion. So much so that as questions of what the future will hold begin to be addressed, the question of marriage is thrown into the mix. Now if there is to be a wedding decisions must be made not just where and when, but in this relationship just who will be the bride and who will be the groom?!
What began as a shipboard fling, a mutual gratification agreement of sorts, has over time turned into a real and meaningful romance for the lead characters in this futuristic romp. All manners of sex play take place within the pages of the tale. From BDSM to sex toys, voyeurism to multiple partners, each is touched upon in a steamy, sometimes humorous, but always sexy manner. Just keep in mind that the characters engaging in these activities both happen to be male. Then put that information aside and you will find a honest caring relationship full of fun, humor and a little bit of kinkiness which is a pleasure to watch unfold. It was especially fun to watch Allard come to the conclusion that at last he has found a place he belongs with people he cares for after years of distancing himself from his coworkers and walking out on job after job. Also pleasurable was the crew becoming the bridal party each with a role to play, with both seriousness and the humor which has made this series such fun to read from the start. Readers will be hard pressed to come up with a cast of characters as diverse and quite frankly bizarre as this bunch. And yet, readers will find that this group of oddballs fit together like puzzle pieces creating a picture both fascinating to see join together and fun to behold as a whole.
