<title>The Silver Fang

Samantha is a body guard to the paranormal. She belongs to one of the few detective agencies that will take on vampires and other paranormal creatures; she gets results, and is therefore highly sought after. When a vampire comes in requesting her services, she’s very suspicious. She knows that this vampire is one of the most powerful she’s seen and a master vampire, and there is no way that he could need her protection. Curious, she tries to find out more and winds up in more trouble than even she might be able to handle.

Wow! There was a lot going on in The Silver Fang. So much, that I tended to get a little lost and have to read some passages over again just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. There were a few moments when the character’s indecision made it hard to keep up with who and what she wanted. Samantha ends up having several relationships with at least five different men, and I started to wonder if she was ever going to settle on one. Of course, the lead man in the pack of paranormals was Sion, and he is definitely one to keep. There is a lot of violence and sex in the story, and she is the kind of woman that can definitely take care of herself in a fight. Samantha is the kind of heroine that I like to read about, able to take care of herself and pick and choose who she wants to be with. The Silver Fang can sometimes be a little confusing, but it is well worth the time to sit down and try to figure out what is going on. It looks like there is going to be another one in this series, and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this talented author.
